Junior Basic Training (JBT) is a Diploma level Educational course. This is one of the teacher training programs known as the JBT or Junior Basic Training course. After completing the Diploma course students qualifying for this training essentially get employed in schools imparting elementary education. The duration of the Diploma course is of two years. In some colleges, they offer admission to students based on their academic performance, there are quite a few institutes that conduct an entrance examination for the same. The graduates who are willing to pursue this course must have cleared their examination with 45% in total. Junior Basic Training course is important in nature that provides many career opportunities to the candidates after its successful completion. Junior Basic Training (JBT) Eligibility
Students should have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board with at least 50% in aggregate.
Graduates willing to pursue this course must have cleared their examination with 45% in aggregate.

D.EL.ED

D.El.Ed which is also known as Diploma course in Elementary Education. It is a full-time two-year diploma course to train teachers for the primary level and it can be done with distance learning as well as classroom training. There are a total of four semesters throughout the course, that prepare the candidates to work in primary / upper primary schools of different states within the country. The D.El.Ed course is designed in such a way that it includes internship and practical training along with classroom instructions. It also includes the education practice, principle of child development, and the role of the teacher in grooming the students.

Types of D.El.Ed
Diploma in Elementary Education, commonly known as D.El.Ed. It is a two-year full-time diploma course to train teachers for the primary level. Students can pursue D.El.Ed after completion of 10+2.

D.El.Ed Eligibility
Those colleges which offer D.El.Ed courses have different eligibility criteria. Few colleges offer admission on the basis of a 10+2 score while others conduct their own entrance exams. Those candidates who want to pursue D.El.Ed needs to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
